As part of its Research and Development (R&D) policy implemented by the aQuantum Labs, that allow to experiment with innovative ideas, carry out proof-of-concepts and implementations in partnership with the main software research groups and institutes, aQuantum has started a collaboration with the Deusto University to promote of Quantum Industry-Ready Software.

On February, 2, 2023 the institutional signing of the agreement for boosting  Quantum Industry-Ready Software between aQuantum and the University of Deusto took place. The signing ceremony was presided over by the Dean of the Engineering SchoolProf. Asier Perallos and  Mr. Guido Peterssen aQuantum COO, the researcher of the D4K – Deusto for Knowledge Group of the University of Deusto, Dr. Pablo García Bringas Vice-Dean for External Affairs, and Lifelong Learning, Deusto Ingeniería and Dr. Mario Piattini aQuantum CRO and Leader of the Alarcos Research Group.

Both organizations will focus on joint research work related to R&D and technology transfer of Quantum Software to the industry, as well as promoting training activities in these areas in the Basque Country. QuantumPath® platform will be used in the research, transfer and training activities carried out.

At aQuantum we are very excited about the start of this collaboration with the Deusto Engineering School and in this way contribute to the development of the quantum workforce and the creation of a practical quantum software development hub in Euskadi.
