Fundación Tecnalia Research & Innovation (Tecnalia) becomes a “Research Partner” of the aQuantum Partner Network (aQNetwork).

Tecnalia is the largest center of applied research and technological development in Spain, a benchmark in Europe and a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance. Tecnalia has almost 1500 employees and 7800 client companies. Its main scopes of action are: smart manufacturing, digital transformation, energy transition, sustainable mobility,  personalised health, and the urban ecosystem.

aQuantum and Tecnalia will collaborate on applied research and development of quantum algorithms and applications and software, in this way, broaden the connection between scientific developments in quantum computing and solutions promoted by companies.

This agreement between the Tecnalia and aQuantum not only brings an advantageous collaboration for both organizations, but also allows aQuantum to continue its constant commitment with the Talavera Manifesto and to promote research on Quantum Software Engineering and Programming through all possible channels. Additionally, this collaboration will enable aQuantum to expand its efforts in offering useful quantum software tools, which is a global fundamental need to contribute to the advancement of the adoption of the quantum computing and programming in the real world.

At aQuantum we are very excited about the start of this collaboration with Tecnalia and we are convinced that this collaboration will bring new and interesting results to our research and development activities.
