On September 30, 2020, Sourajit Aiyer from Fair AI interviewed Dr. Mario Piattini, aQuantum Scientific Leader. In the Fair AI Thought Leader Speaks Series, aQuantum Scientific Leader presents the Talavera Manifesto for Quantum Software Engineering and Programming and aQuantum ongoing projects, and emphasises the necessity of creating a new “Quantum Software Engineering” to produce quantum software with high quality and productivity. He also insists on the criticality to address the most pressing problem of quantum computing, that is, the lack of talent, in order to make quantum computing more beneficial for society at large.
