Physicists and Mathematicians for quantum software development projects
About the Job
The work will be carried out according to the different research and development lines of aQuantum company. We offer quantum software solutions for real world problems with a quantum computational science approach that includes computational physics, mathematics, chemistry, economics, genetics, among other disciplines.
The work is done in close collaboration with the quantum software engineering teams, will basically consist of participating in the development of quantum algorithms to solve business application problems that will be used in our quantum software platform.
The candidates would join a team of scientists and software developers and will participate in the entire development process through the research, development and implementation of industry-ready quantum software solutions.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor/M.Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or related discipline
- Fluency in Python
- Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- English Level: >=B2
- Work permit for non-EU nationals
Desirable Qualifications
- PhD degree in Quantum Physics, Mathematics or Chemistry
- Programming experience in C#, Q#, OpenQASM or Python
- Knowledge about relevant research literature on quantum algorithms
- 2+ years of experience in applied research projects
- Expertise in the development of mathematical models
- Scientific publications in any field

About the Job
